Our Staff

JUDAS is a team of eight dedicated staff members, who work tirelessly to keep JUDAS running because this is truly a passion project - making academia accessible through satire and colloquialism. Here, you can meet each of our staff members, and if you're interested in joining our ranks, you'll find an application form at the bottom of this page. 


Frankie E.J. Robinson
Editor-in-Chief & Writer

Frankie is JUDAS' Editor-in-Chief and uses He/Him pronouns. Frankie is currently a Year 12 A-Level Student in West Yorkshire, where he is studying Economics; Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics; Psychology; and Sociology. Frankie writes about Philosophy, Culture, Media, Sociology, Religion, and Social Anthropology for JUDAS, and hopes to study Comparative Religion and Social Anthropology after he graduates from College. He holds special interests in Judaism, Women, and Gender. He hopes to work in Social Science Research and Lecturing in the future, where he can teach the next generation of genius and help create new knowledge. He tries and fails to publish every month, on the 7th. 


Alice E. Young
Editor and Webmaster

Alice is one of JUDAS' Editor and Webmaster and uses She/They pronouns. Alice is currently a Year 12 A-Level Student in West London, where they are studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, and Statistics. Alice doesn't often write for JUDAS', but enjoys programming, data, artificial intelligence, mathematical-philosophical applications, and statistical analysis. They hope to study Data Science or Statistics after they graduate from College. She hopes to work in crime data analytics or demography research in the future, where she hopes she can help people by creating policies informed by data.


Alex M. Mortimer
Managing Editor

Alex is JUDAS' Managing Editor and uses He/Him pronouns. Alex is currently a Year 13 A-Level Student in Kent, where he is studying History, English Literature, and French. Alex doesn't write for JUDAS anymore due to an ever-full schedule, but enjoys Socio-Legal Studies, reading fiction, and writing about history. He currently holds an offer to read for an LL.B. in Law at the London School of Economics in 2023, should he meet the conditional offer requirements. He hopes to work in Law in the future, especially in public prosecutions and investigations and has a special passion for defending the disadvantaged and doing his part to make society fair.


Anna J. McCauley
Writer, Editor, and Recruiting Manager

Anna is one of JUDAS' Editors and Recruiting Manager and uses She/Her pronouns. Anna is currently a Year 13 A-Level Student in Leeds, where she is studying Biology, Psychology, and Chemistry. Anna writes Biochemistry, Psychology, Biology, and Anthropology for JUDAS, and has a special interest in neuroendocrinology and gender/sex. She currently holds an offer to read for a B.Sc. in Double-Honours Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St. Andrews in 2023, should she meet the conditional offer requirements. She hopes to work in Biomedical Research and Lecturing in the future. She publishes a few times a year, always on the 21st day of the month.


Finnbar W. Burgess
Writer 

Finn is one of JUDAS' Writers and uses He/Him pronouns. Finn is currently a Year 12 A-Level Student in Kent, where he is studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Economics. Finn writes Economics, Business, and Finance for JUDAS, and enjoys skiing, playing the piano, socialising, playing tennis, and reading in his spare time. He hopes to study Economics or Finance after he graduates from Sixth Form, after which he hopes to work in corporate finance. He publishes as regularly as he can manage, and can be expected to publish on the 14th of the month


Megan L. Brierly
Writer

Megan is one of JUDAS' writers and uses She/Her pronouns. Megan is currently a Year 12 A-Level student in West Yorkshire studying Biology, English Literature, and History. Megan writes Fiction, Literary Criticism, Arts, and Culture for JUDAS, and enjoys writing, reading, playing the piano, and singing in her spare time. Megan is a published author as well as a JUDAS columnist and she hopes to read for combined honours in English and History after leaving College, before completing her PGCE. Megan's aspiration is to teach High School History and English after her PGCE, inspiring a new generation with the passion she has for these subjects.


Maria L. Marsh
Writer

Maria is one of JUDAS' writers and uses She/Her pronouns. Maria is currently a Year 13 A-Level student in London studying Psychology, Sociology, and Classics. Maria writes Literature, Classical Civilisation, Sociology, Psychology, and History for JUDAS, and enjoys reading and listening to music in her spare time. Maria currently holds an offer to read for a BA in Classics and the Ancient World at King's College, London, should she meet the conditional requirements. After writing her PhD, Maria hopes to become an author, researcher, and teacher. She publishes on the 13th of each month.


Nella S. Falola
Writer

Nella is one of JUDAS' writers and uses She/They pronouns. Nella is currently a Year 12 A-Level student in Hertfordshire studying Psychology, History and Fine Art. Nella writes about Gender, Sexuality, Women, Africa, History, Art, Culture, and issues of Intersectionality for JUDAS, and enjoys playing netball, lacrosse, and classical guitar in their spare time. After completing her A-Level studies, she hopes to study Law to become a Lawyer, helping the disadvantaged by counselling them on the Law. She publishes on the 26th of each month.


Hannah E. St. James
Writer

Hannah is one of JUDAS' writers and uses She/Her pronouns. Hannah is currently a Year 13 A-Level student in London studying Russian, French, and English Language. Hannah writes on languages, linguistics, literature, and philosophy for JUDAS, and enjoys playing netball, swimming, playing the piano, and practising her language skills in her free time. Hannah currently holds an offer to read for a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages at Girton College, University of Cambridge, should she meet the conditional requirements, where she hopes to read papers in Russian and French. After graduation, Hannah hopes to write her PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures. She publishes on the 20th of each month.
